Food banking in Uganda has its origin from our founders who invested in farming. However, this incurred them losses due to the flooding of the market with lots of farm products exactly same as those they had.
Grappled with such an experience, they realized that a lot of food goes to waste like that and yet communities still go hungry. To solve that, Haba Na Haba Food Bank was born.
